The Friday evening party (“pre-boda”) is for people to meet each other ahead of the wedding. Dress code is smart casual, and please wear something nice and comfortable. The style in Spain for this kind of event is typically a nice collared shirt with chinos, and blouse and skirt or trousers for women.

The Saturday reception and dinner is cocktail dress: men with suit and tie, and women in dresses (not gowns). Since it is a day wedding and reception, ladies are welcome to wear hats if they wish.
